Most people have heard of the SDG’s – The UN’s 17 sustainable development goals. A large portion of innovation and technological development is needed to move our society towards these goals, but that will not be enough. We also need a mindshift. We need inner growth for this outer change. This is where the IDG’s – the Inner Development Goals – come in play.
About two years ago, I stumbled across the IDG’s during a training with Thomas Jordan. I looked deeper into it and felt this supported my believes in what we need to develop for a sustainable worklife. My biggest why.
The IDG’s describe 23 skills that help us house complexity and global climate challenges They are structured into 5 topics – being, thinking, relating, collaborating and acting. These five words beautifully correlated to what I strive to bring into my work with leadership development and organizational transformation.
These last days, I’ve been fully convinced that I’m on the right track. If we meet to address a challenge within your business, this will be my scaffolding. So if it sounds interesting or if you’re curious, please reach out!
And do you remember the Leadership Retreat I did a couple of years ago with my friend and armorer Siri Wikander in Fulufjället National Park? Next year we will do it again in Store Mosse National Park. More information will be sent out soon!
